Greetings and Happy New Year Central Florida!
Did you know that the United States Conference on AIDS is coming to Orlando? Every year the USCA is an opportunity for consumers, advocates, public health professionals, or anyone who has been affected by the epidemic to discuss where we are, and where we are going in regards to HIV/AIDS prevention and care. This year’s Conference will be held September 6th through the 9th at the Hyatt Regency on International Drive. This month, the Orlando Host Committee will be meeting again for updates and on how you can still get involved! The committee will be responsible for gathering and organizing volunteers, fundraising, selection of abstracts, selection of scholarships, planning events, organizing lounges, marketing, and so much more. There is a place for anybody who is willing to jump in and help tell Orlando’s story!
