There are so many great individuals doing incredible work in the Central Florida community but these two women have recently been highlighted on the national stage for their work in the HIV movement: Shakyara Ralat and Kamaria Laffrey.
Each year, Poz Magazine compiles a list of 100 advocates doing exceptional work in the community. This year’s Poz 100 theme was “Celebrating Women”. Shakyara Ralat has been selected as this year’s Poz 100, making the Central Florida community extremely proud. Healthline is a website highlighting information on the newest health information. They also produce the HIV Honors: The Most Influential Voices list. Kamaria Laffrey has been named one of 2017’s Most Influential Voices for her work in HIV advocacy.
